Impact Ream was active defensively, and he was one of the main reasons why Orlando struggled to create anything even remotely dangerous in the final third. Ream should play a pivotal role in the series-decider once again, as his experience will be key for that contest.

Impact Ream was one of the brighter performers in a poor Charlotte team Wednesday. As the bedrock of their defense he executed five clearances, two blocks and two interceptions. On attack he played seven long balls and managed a shot that went off target. Since joining the club from Fulham last month the veteran defender has made a difference to the team and hopefully will be the catalyst they need to improve. He managed to get on the scoresheet in their last against Montreal.

Impact Ream has made the highly anticipated move back to his home country, with his time with Fulham running out to join Charlotte. He held a starting role for the beginning of the last season with Fulham before falling out of favor, starting in 17 of his 18 appearances while notching 20 tackles, 25 interceptions and 59 clearances. Impact Ream started 13 of the first 14 matches this past season, but once Calvin Bassey was given a chance and Tosin Adarabioyo came back from a lengthy injury, Ream's minutes fell off a cliff. He appeared in just five of the final 24 matches of the season, four of which came while Bassey was away at AFCON. This lack of playing time could affect Ream's place in the USMNT's starting XI this summer at Copa America, as the 36-year-old may be lacking fitness.
