Impact Schlieck looks set to be a part of Leipzig's future, as he signed his first professional contract, inking a three-year contract with the club. The goalie has been in the club's youth ranks since 2021, just turning 18 a week before signing his new deal. He will now most likely remain with the youth teams for the rest of the season, hoping to advance his development enough to be with the first team for the upcoming 2024/15 campaign, although he will only hold a reserve spot if given a shot in the Bundesliga next season.
