Impact Romero will remain in the MLS for his next season of professional football, having signed a one-year contract with the club, holding options to extend until the 2026 campaign. The goalie previously played with LAFC and Toronto FC, totaling 24 appearances between the two teams while registering four clean sheets, 41 goals allowed and 57 saves. The 23-year-old most likely won't see much time as a starter this season, as he will probably only earn a role as a reserve option. He'll have to beat out Matt Freese and Luis Barraza if he wants any chance at seeing the field over the next year.
