Sean Johnson - Transfers to Toronto Johnson has signed a two-year contract with Toronto FC after leaving NYCFC as a free agent, the club announced Friday. Impact Johnson kept 57 clean sheets in 195 MLS appearances across his six seasons with New York City, winning the MLS Cup in 2021 and earning a spot as a backup on the USMNT's World Cup roster in 2022. The 33-year-old is still at the top of his game as he set a career-high mark of 15 clean sheets last season, and he's now moving to take over the starting goalkeeper job in Toronto over Tomas Romero and Greg Ranjitsingh.
