Impact Bono returned to the starting XI after three games backing up Quentin Westberg, who was out after picking up a knock. But this ended up being a nightmare performance for the goalkeeper as he was beaten twice before the half hour mark and then didn't have opportunities to offset these goals with saves, as his side controlled the offensive actions during the rest of the way. It's still to be confirmed, but Westberg will probably be able to return for Saturday's clash against Seattle, consequently sending Bono back to the bench.

Alejandro Pozuelo - Provides assist in loss Pozuelo made an assist, had four shots (two on target), created six chances and sent in 11 crosses (one accurate) during Wednesday's 2-1 loss against Columbus.
Impact Pozuelo was one of the best men on the pitch despite playing for the losing side, racking up a season-high six chances created and assisting Jesus Jimenez for his side's lone goal with a perfect cross from the right. This has been a very productive campaign for the attacker as he already has four goals and four assists over 15 starts. Up next for him is Saturday's home clash against Seattle.

Domenico Criscito - Transfers to Toronto Criscito has signed an 18-month contract with Toronto FC after transferring from Genoa, the club announced Wednesday.
Impact Criscito is leaving Genoa for what feels like the final time -- he began his career there before his 2011 move to Zenit, and then returned to Genoa in 2018 -- having tallied 30 goals in 274 appearances for the club overall. The 35-year-old is now moving to MLS, where he will want to bolster a Toronto back line that has conceded the most goals in the Eastern Conference this season. He will be competing with Chris Mavinga and Shane O'Neill for a spot next to Carlos Salcedo in central defense, possibly in a back-three.
