Back in team training Smalls (lower leg) is back in team training Wednesday ahead of Saturday's match against Columbus, per Will Palaszczuk of WFNZ.

Impact Smalls has been training on the side since the start of the season and is now fit to participate in team training. His return will bring a huge depth presence in the wing, with Iuri Taveres and Brecht Dejaegere the top choices to start in the attack for Charlotte.

Training away from group Smalls (undisclosed) was spotted training away from the group Thursday and should be considered questionable to face the Whitecaps on Saturday, Will Palaszczuk of WFNZ reports.

Impact Smalls is a 22-year-old winger who's not expected to see significant minutes with Charlotte this season. If he ends up being ruled out for Saturday's clash, then his next chance to play will come against Toronto on March 9.
