Quickly heads back to Serie A Ebuehi has joined Empoli on a permanent deal from Benfica and signed a three-year contract, the team announced.

Impact Ebuehi spent last season on loan to Venezia, showing decently well despite multiple muscular injuries. He reunites with his former coach Paolo Zanetti, but he will have more competition for minutes at Empoli and will probably alternate with Petar Stojanovic.
