Sergi Canos - Could be available Saturday Canos (undisclosed) is dealing with a muscular injury but could be an option to play against Las Palmas on Saturday, Xema Tarazona of El Desmarque reports.

Impact Valencia manager Ruben Baraja is not known for taking risks with muscular injuries, and Canos will only be part of the squad Saturday if he's 100 percent healthy and ready to go. The winger has missed Valencia's last two matches.

Andre Almeida - No return date yet Almeida (back) returned to training earlier this week, but the coaching staff does not have to take any risks with him and is still working him under a specific pre-season workload...

Impact Valencia manager Ruben Baraja doesn't want to take risks with Almeida, and the midfielder is training with a specific strengthening schedule. Once he completes that, he'd be expected to take part in group training, but only if he doesn't have any setbacks. He's not expected to be an option for the first team for a few weeks at the earliest.

Thierry Correia - Dealing with leg injury Correia is dealing with a right lower leg injury and is a few weeks away from even returning to training, Xema Tarazona of El Desmarque reports.

Impact Valencia have not addressed a potential return date for the defender, although the initial expectation since suffering the injury at the end of January was that he'd be back with the team in four to six weeks. The loss of Correia is big for Valencia, as he's been a regular starter when healthy -- he's been in the XI in all but two of his 19 Liga appearances.

Diego Lopez Noguerol - Undergoes surgery Lopez (face) underwent surgery due to a facial fracture, Valencia announced.

Impact Lopez will likely end up on the sideline for two weeks at least while recovering from the facial fracture. The forward was replaced by Fran Perez, who should be in line for more minutes in the starting XI in the coming matches.

Mouctar Diakhaby - Back with club Diakaby (AFCON) resumed training with the squad ahead of Saturday's trip to Las Palmas.

Impact Diakaby saw action in four of Guinea's five AFCON matches in which he went the full 90 minutes each time. Since returning from a hamstring injury, the defender has started two of his four appearances, recording one shot (off target), 23 clearances and four interceptions. With Diakhaby back with his club, he should be in the mix to reclaim his place in the starting XI.

Andre Almeida - Back in training Almeida (back) rejoined first-team training Tuesday.

Impact Almeida should probably still be considered a doubt heading into Saturday's matchup with Las Palmas but the fact that he was back on the training pitch is certainly a step in the right direction. The midfielder has been out of action since Oct. 1 versus Betis, a stretch of 15 matches on the shelf. Once cleared to play, Almeida should be in contention for a spot in the starting XI after featuring in six of his eight matches to open the season.

Pepelu - Assists against Almeria Pepelu assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), four crosses (two accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 victory versus Almeria.

Impact Pepelu has been a mainstay in the side this year, starting every game for Valencia this year, averaging 1.5 chances created per match, and he finally saw it pay off with his opening assist of the year. He will be a creative hub in midfield for the side once again versus Las Palmas next time out.

Impact Yaremchuk scored his second goal of the season, with both goals coming in his last four appearances which may suggest he is finally finding some form after 12 straight goalless games. He has five shots in that same four-game span and is a strong candidate to start up top once again as his side looks for someone else to carry the attacking load alongside Hugo Duro.

Impact Duro has taken two shots in each of his last five matches to go along with three goals in that span. He is the focal point of Valencia's attack with none of his fellow forwards topping two goals while Duro has scored 10 times this season. He will look to net a goal in consecutive games for the third time this season away to Las Palmas on Saturday.
