Impact Wass was anything besides his average self in the draw Saturday. The midfielder who typically slots in at wingback or plays a more defensive position in the midfield did the complete opposite. He was pure offense in the draw and he had a few terrific strikes that forced the opposing keeper to make very good saves. Wass still has yet to put together an all-around performance, however, he does have the skillset to do so. Until he does though, a cautionary stance on his production is welcomed.

Impact Guedes was dynamic in the draw Saturday. However, he did have a few prime opportunities that he completely butchered. Although, he did create a season-high six chances. It was also promising to see him on the majority of the set-pieces too. Over his last five appearances, he is averaging, 2.0 shots, 2.4 created chances, 5.8 crosses and 1.2 corners per 90 minutes in all competitions.

Impact Foulquier strung together another decent offensive performance, however, he offered very little defensively. The wingback is one of the bigger assets for Valencia in their attack and over his last five appearances, he is averaging, 0.2 shots, 0.2 created chances, 3.8 crosses, 1.0 tackles and 1.2 interceptions per 90 minutes in all competitions. Until he starts producing outside of his crosses, he is hard to warrant every game.

Impact Cillessen was phenomenal in his first start of the season. The keeper stood tall when it was needed and if not for him, Valencia would have never taken a point from the match. At the final seconds of the game, Athletic had one final attempt and Cillessen stretched as far as he could to make the stop. Based on this performance, it would not be a surprise if he got more time as the season churns away.

Guedes has been great so far this season and in his last five appearances, he is averaging, 1.8 shots, 1.4 created chances, 4.4 crosses, 0.8 corners and 0.8 tackles per 90 minutes in all competitions.

He will at least be out for the next match and it could be more depending on what the league settles with.
