That being said, he will hope to start immediately, but after such a long time out, they may choose to start him off the bench, earning minutes late into the match before a full return.

Jaume Domenech - Set for surgery Domenech (quadriceps) is set to receive surgery on his injury, his club announced Wednesday.

Impact Domenech is now set to receive surgery after picking up a quad injury over the weekend. However, this will not force him to miss any more time, as he was already expected to miss 4-5 months. That being said, he will hope for a speedy recovery with no setbacks, looking to be an option around the end of August or the start of September, likely missing the first couple of games next season.

Jaume Domenech - Season over Domenech is set to miss 4-5 months with a quadriceps injury, Deportes Valencia reports.

Impact Domenech suffered the quad injury after 45 minutes against Alaves, and is now set to miss multiple months. The goalkeeper finishes the 2023/24 season with two appearances (one start) and nine saves. He will most likely be back in 2024/25 as the backup option once more.
