Russell Teibert - Dealing with ankle injury Teibert is listed as probable in Vancouver's injury report for Saturday's clash against CF Montreal due to an ankle contusion.

Impact Teibert has been dealing with this ankle injury since mid-March and it forced him to miss last weekend's draw with Minnesota. He may be a game time decision for Saturday, but he's only made one MLS appearance off the bench this season regardless.

Ryan Gauld - Dealing with hamstring issue Gauld is listed as probable in Vancouver's injury report for Saturday's clash against CF Montreal due to hamstring tightness.

Impact Gauld has started all five of the Whitecaps' MLS games this season, but he was taken off at the hour mark last weekend and is carrying a minor injury designation into Saturday's match. He is still expected to be able to play against Montreal, but Pedro Vite or even Simon Becher could replace him in the XI if necessary.

Impact Schopf has started four of the Whitecaps' five MLS matches in midfield this season, but he will miss out Saturday due to injury. Andres Cubas (not injury related) should replace him in the XI as he returns from international duty.

Luis Martins - Recovers from illness Martins has recovered from a non-COVID illness ahead of this weekend's clash against CF Montreal, the Daily Hive Vancouver reported Tuesday.

Impact Martins has missed each of Vancouver's last three matches first with a groin injury and then with this illness. He will hope to be fit enough to take back over from Ryan Raposo as the starting left-back against Montreal on Saturday.

Impact Vite injected a lot of attacking impetus upon his introduction into Saturday's match, and his side ended up salvaging a draw with a late goal against Minnesota. Vite has only started one of his five MLS appearances this season as Cristian Dajome seems to be the preferred option on the right wing/attacking midfield, but there's still plenty of time for Vite to make his case and break into the XI on a regular basis.

Deiber Caicedo - Makes season debut off bench Caicedo played the final 10 minutes or so of Saturday's 1-1 draw against Minnesota United.

Impact Caicedo subbed in and made his first appearance Saturday since tearing his meniscus last June. He will want to break back into the starting XI along the attacking line once he's back up to full fitness.

Impact Dajome has started four of Vancouver's five MLS matches this season either in attacking midfield or on the right wing, and he seems to be the preferred option over Pedro Vite in the XI. This was Dajome's second game with at least three shots and a chance created.
