Jiri Pavlenka - Heroic for upset Pavlenka made seven saves in Saturday's 5-1 win versus Monchengladbach.

Impact Pavlenka did everything he possibly could to earn a shock win, and he got his win and more. The goalkeeper made seven saves, moving him to 13 saves and two goals conceded in his last two matches. While he certainly won't continue that sort of pace it's still a great run of form for Pavlenka and a Bremen side who seem to be finding some special form.

Ilia Gruev - Busy in win Gruev had one cross (zero accurate) and zero chances created in Saturday's 5-1 win versus Monchengladbach.

Impact Gruev had plenty to do behind the ball as he made his second consecutive start. The midfielder has taken a more defensive role in the Bremen midfield, giving him a safe floor so far in his starts. There's not a ton of offensive upside for Gruev but his floor and ability to fill the stat sheet could give him so sneaky value and a safer floor defensively.
