Staying with Loons Trapp has signed a one-year contract with Minnesota, according to the club.

Impact Trapp will remain with Minnesota for yet another season, with the club deciding to give the midfielder a one-year deal after weeks of negotiations. He started in 29 of his 30 appearances last season, finishing his fourth straight season as a regular starter for the Loons while notching one goal and an assist. That said, he sees most of his time on the defensive side of the pitch, so despite the heaps of minutes he receives, he isn't of the highest value due to his low goal contribution count.
