Impact Sommer was forced to make a handful of high-danger shots that ultimately saved Monchengladbach a point after 90 minutes. During the second-half Bielefeld had one final strong push that provided them with a point-blank shot on net and Sommer made his hardest save of the game to keep his team in it. The keeper currently boasts one of the best values in his position in all of the Bundesliga with 2.05 saves per goal against. That might not seem a lot, but when you look at his last five especially, he is averaging 5.0 saves and 1.4 goals against per game, those are elite numbers.
