Panthers LB Thomas Davis takes shot at Jimmy Graham
The Carolina Panthers delivered an impressive comeback victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, and that gave at least one of their players the confidence to chirp afterwards.
Linebacker Thomas Davis had eight tackles and a sack in Carolina's 27-23 win at Seattle and criticized Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham afterwards.
"He's probably one of those guys who is excited about his production and not worried about his team losing," Davis said of Graham after the game, via the Charlotte Observer's Joe Person.
Davis and Graham have history from when they played twice a year when the tight end was in the NFC South as a member of the Saints. Davis said in the week leading up to the game that there wouldn't be any love lost between them. His comments about Graham could be rooted in their past rivalry, or potentially a response to the storylines surrounding Graham, who was said to be ticked off with the Seahawks early in the season.
Graham did lead Seattle with eight catches for 140 yards, but he probably wasn't too happy given the game's outcome.
