Teuvo Teravainen scored the game-winning shootout goal to give the Carolina Hurricanes a 4-3 win at home over the Nashville Predators. Scott Darling made 32 saves in goal for Carolina, while Victor Rask registered his first multi-point game since the season opener with a goal and an assist.
