Elias Lindholm scored two power play goals, including the game-winner in the third period, to help lift the Carolina Hurricanes to a road victory over the Detroit Red Wings, 3-1. Cam Ward made 23 saves in net for the Hurricanes while Justin Williams also registered a goal in the third period for Carolina. Tomas Tatar scored the lone goal for Detroit.
