Glen Sonmor's hockey roots in Minnesota were deep. The former New York Rangers forward coached the Minnesota North Stars, the Gophers men's hockey team and the WHA's Minnesota Fighting Saints, before becoming a scout for the Wild. He died on Monday at the age of 86.
