Redskins want to opt out of Color Rush uniforms for one simple reason

The Washington Redskins appear to want no part of Color Rush uniforms. The Redskins proposed a rule change for 2017 that would let teams opt out of wearing Color Rush uniforms. And the reason for this change? Garish uniforms. Ironically, the Redskins didn’t even wear the Color Rush uniforms last year. Their only Thursday game last season was on Thanksgiving afternoon. The current rule requires teams to wear Color Rush uniforms during Thursday night games.
