NFL adjusts Rooney Rule to aid minority hiring I SPEAK FOR YOURSELF

The NFL is taking steps to add diversity to its hiring practices by tweaking the Rooney Rule. Previously the Rooney Rule is aimed to aid in the hiring of minority coaches by requiring each team to interview at least one person of color for head coaching vacancies. The NFL owners have tweaked the rule which now requires teams to hire a female or minority coach to its offensive staff.
