Loyd was traded from the Storm to the Aces on Sunday as part of a three-team trade that sent Kelsey Plum, the No. 9 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft and the Storm's 2026 second-round pick to Los Angeles, as well as Li Yueru, the No. 2 pick in this year's draft and the Aces' 2026 first-round pick to the Storm, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. The Aces will also receive the No. 13 pick in this year's draft.
