Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing a solid 275 pounds, Veer came to the squared circle from the baseball diamond, where he was a pitching prospect for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the inspiration for the Disney movie “Million Dollar Arm.” The hulking Superstar first cast an intimidating shadow in the ring as one-half of the muscle behind "The Modern Day Maharajah" Jinder Mahal alongside the 7-foot tall Shanky. After months of anticipation, The Lion reemerged from an absence to execute a vicious attack on The Mysterios on the Raw after WrestleMania 38.  In October, Veer seemingly transitioned to the NXT brand to reunite with his former Indus Sher teammate Sanga. He then returned to Raw under the tutelage of Mahal.
