Jizzle James - Logs a dozen in victoryJames recorded 12 points (5-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and two assists over 21 minutes during Saturday's 67-60 win over Arizona State.
ImpactIt was the best scoring effort of the calendar year for James, who had put up just seven or fewer points in each of his previous four games. James did start the year hot, posting 14.6 ppg over the season's first seven games. Since then, he's cut that scoring average in half over his last 10 with just 7.3 points per contest. That's at least due in part to the return of Dan Skillings to the Cincinnati backcourt, but things won't get any easier for James with Big 12 play heating up.
