Excellent in tight game Bacot closed Thursday's 89-81 win over Portland with 11 points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-8 FT), 13 rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes.

Impact The Tar Heels suffered more than they would've liked against Portland, but Bacot was one of the main reasons why the top-ranked program in the country escaped with the victory. One of the most dominant players in the entire country, Bacot notched his second straight double-double and is now averaging 16.8 points with 12.0 rebounds per game in the current campaign.

Bacot averaged 11.8 rebounds across the 2022-23 Tar Heels' first four games at Chapel Hill. He is a promising option as they prepare to begin their road trip that lasts until Dec. 4.

Impact Bacot was one of the pre-season favorites for the ACC Player of the Year award, so it shouldn't be surprising to see him dominating the competition on a regular basis. He's a double-double threat every time he steps on the court, and he should be a go-to player in one of the country's best offenses as long as he remains healthy.

Impact Bacot is a pre-season favorite to be the ACC Player of the Year once the season ends, and even though his shooting display wasn't overly efficient here, he still posted a solid stat line while ending just one rebound shy of a double-double. Even if he has slumping performances at times, Bacot should be the go-to player in one of the country's best offenses, so he should be a must-start player across all formats every time UNC takes the floor.

The 6-11 center already appears to be in mid-season form after foregoing the NBA in an effort to lead his Tar Heels back to the National Title game. If a knee injury to Kentucky's Oscar Tshiebwe brings fantasy managers any concern, spending a No. 1 pick on Bacot in drafts this year would be a perfectly acceptable alternative.
