Explodes for 35 pointsMitchell registered 35 points (12-17 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 31 minutes in Friday's 72-62 win over San Diego State.

ImpactMitchell had scored in double digits in each of his previous five appearances this season, but he came out of nowhere with this 35-point outburst -- he was excellent from the field and posted season-high marks in several offensive categories, including three-pointers made and field goals made. He is now averaging 16.3 points per game through six games in 2020-21.
