Impact Daniels was deemed a game-time call prior to California Baptist's opener, but the guard wound up not only playing, but leading his team in minutes. It took him 13 shots to score 16 points, but he remains a critical piece for the Lancers.

Brantly Stevenson - Staying in California Stevenson announced via his personal Twitter on Saturday that he is transferring to California Baptist.

Impact Stevenson will stay within his home state after appearing in 80 games over the past three seasons at Cal Poly. The 6-foot-4 junior also averaged career highs in points (11.2) and field-goal percentage (46.5) across 33 games with 27 starts during the 2022-23 season. Stevenson also averaged between 3.0 to 4.8 rebounds over the first three seasons of his career, so he should provide some balanced production while pushing for a starting role with California Baptist this coming season.
