Opts out for remainder of 2020 DeJulius has decided to opt out for the remainder of the 2020-21 season, Justin Williams of The Athletic reports.
Impact There aren't many games remaining on the Bearcats' schedule, but the team will be down some more firepower in the backcourt the rest of the way. DeJulius had been the primary facilitator on offense this season, racking up 10.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists over 31.8 minutes per game. His decision likely leaves Mike Saunders and Mika Adams-Woods to comprise the team's starting backcourt.

Impact The Bearcats sit in the middle of the pack in the American conference and will need an epic run to be tournament eligible, but Williams is the type of player that can make that a reality. He had been in a bit of a funk, however, averaging 9.0 ppg on 34.6 percent shooting over his last three games. Wednesday's contest allowed him to snap out of that with his highest scoring total since Nov. 9. As he goes, so does Cincinnati.
