Jeremiah Davenport - Continues to carry offenseDavenport closed with 21 points (7-15 FG, 7-10 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and one steal in 22 minutes during Sunday's 87-80 loss to Memphis.
ImpactDavenport led all scorers Sunday with his 21 point performance, his second game with over 20 points this season. The 6-foot-7 forward leads the Bearcats in scoring and rebounds this season, averaging 13.1 points and 5.2 rebounds. Sunday marked the first time this season that Davenport's only points came from behind the arc, an impressive shooting display from the forward who is averaging a 36.4% clip from three this season.

David DeJulius - Not enough in lossDeJulius finished with 15 points (6-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and six assists across 32 minutes during Sunday's 87-80 loss to Memphis.
ImpactPrimarily on the floor as an offensive weapon, Dejulius was able to knock down enough shots to keep the Bearcats in the ball game. His 15 points Sunday were just above his season average of 12.9, the second highest scoring average on the team. Dejulius was one of four Bearcats to score in double figures Sunday, his six assists helped create open shot opportunities for his teammates. While his performance may have been right around his season average, his performance Sunday was the second consecutive game in which the guard scored in double figures after struggling to do so in the teams two previous games in which he scored just nine combined points.

Jalen Duren - Plays through injuryDuren ended Sunday's 87-80 victory over Cincinnati with seven points (3-10 FG, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and three blocks across 28 minutes.
ImpactDuren had missed two of the last three games leading up to Sunday -- one due to health and safety protocols, and most recently due to a hip injury. He was spotted stretching and warming up prior to the contest, and while he ultimately played, Duren had a tough time with Cincinnati's more experienced post players. He'll next have to deal with 6-11 senior Cheikh Mbacke Diong when the Tigers head to UCF on Wednesday.

Tyler Harris - Shot-making propels TigersHarris amassed 20 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), one rebound, three assists and one steal over 26 minutes during Sunday's 87-80 win over Cincinnati.
ImpactHarris is one of the few true veterans of this Memphis program, as he spent his first two collegiate seasons here before a brief stint with Iowa State. He now serves primarily as a reserve, but various injuries in the program have allowed him to averaged 10.3 points across 20.0 minutes over his last six games. Sunday's scoring total was a new season high, as well as the most points in a Memphis uniform since early in his freshman season. Outside shooting hasn't necessarily been a strength for this year's Memphis squad, but Harris leads the way with 21 three-pointers made, doing so at a success rate of 43.8 percent.

Jayden Hardaway - Role unaffected by knee issueHardaway ended Sunday's 87-80 win over Cincinnati with six points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one block in 12 minutes.
ImpactHardaway was considered a game-time call for this matchup due to a knee injury, but ended up seeing double-digit minutes for a fourth consecutive contest. The reserve guard looks to be in the clear moving forward, though expect contributions to be modest due to the depth and talent on this Memphis roster.

Landers Nolley - Logs full workloadNolley supplied seven points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and three assists over 31 minutes during Sunday's 87-80 victory over Cincinnati.
ImpactNolley was considered questionable for this contest due to a newly-reported neck injury, but he hadn't missed a game all season long, and Sunday was no different. He came off the bench for his third consecutive contest, but still saw the second-most minutes of any Memphis player. While the minutes have been relatively steady, Nolley's overall production has suffered due to a more talented supporting cast this year, with his scoring average currently down 4.1 points from his 2020-21 mark of 13.1 ppg.
JANUARY 10, 2022•ROTOWIRE
Emoni Bates - Returns against CincinnatiBates provided 12 points (3-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and one steal in 21 minutes during Sunday's 87-80 win over Cincinnati.
ImpactBates had been sidelined for nearly a month due to a finger injury, missing three consecutive games and not appearing since Dec. 14. He came off the bench for just the second time this season in this one, posting one of his more efficient stat lines and contributing across multiple categories for fantasy managers. After a tough start to the season, the Tigers are now 3-1 in AAC play, and the addition of a five-star prospect like Bates should come in handy with back-to-back road matchups on tap this week.
