Jesse Edwards - Return to formEdwards registered 25 points (11-17 FG, 3-9 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and four blocks over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 69-65 win over Cincinnati.
ImpactEdwards made the most of his return to the starting lineup, putting up a monster 25/10 performance while adding a season-high four blocks on the defensive end. The senior center was playing in just his second game since missing nine due to a fractured wrist and put together his fourth double-double of the season. West Virginia has struggled this season, but has the makings of being a dangerous spoiler as Wednesday marked the first time the tandem of Edwards, RaeQuan Battle and Kerr Kriisa have appeared in the same starting lineup. In 11 games as a starter, Edwards is averaging 31.2 minutes per contest, scoring 15.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks.
