ImpactSchwartz only had one previous career double-double (three games earlier), and he set a new career-best rebounding total here, breaking his old mark by a full five boards. With Dallas Walton (lower leg) out, Jeriah Horne (7 rebounds) and Evan Battey (6 rebounds) were expected to carry the load, but with the Buffaloes outrebounding the Utes 49-to-31, there was plenty of love to spread around the box score. Schwartz and the Tigers now set their sights on a friendly matchup against California on Thursday.

Injures ankle in second halfCarlson suffered an ankle injury in the second half of Monday's loss to Colorado, Josh Furlong of KSL.com reports.
ImpactAlthough recently replaced from the starting five, Carlson had been putting on a solid game with eight points, nine rebounds and two blocks in the 23 minutes he was on the court. He was later spotted limping to the locker room, so consider the seven-footer questionable at best for Thursday's Pac-12 showdown against Stanford.

ImpactWalker tied a team-high and also a personal season-high with 15 points en route to notching his first double-double of the season. He did it with the utmost efficiency, recording it in only 16 minutes of action and making both of his three-point attempts. Walker should continue to be a big contributor off the bench for Colorado.
