Impact Whaley had apparently been dealing with an ankle injury, but that didn't stop the senior from picking up his second double-double of Big East play, as well as producing one of his better overall stat lines of the season. The 6-9 forward has been a hidden gem in rotisserie formats this season, as his 2.9 bpg average leads the entire Big East.

Impact Martin was considered a game-time call for this contest, but he ultimately started and put up a final stat line that didn't show signs of injury. He and the Huskies have a rematch against Providence up next Tuesday -- a matchup Martin fell just shy of a double-double in (13 points, nine rebounds) back on Feb. 10.

Impact Akok has battled injuries for most of the 2020-21 season but it now appears the sophomore forward is ready to provide the Huskies with a defensively sound option off the bench. While UConn currently may be on the outside looking in with respect to a NCAA Tournament berth, there are plenty of opportunities to change that with multiple Quad 1 opportunities remaining on the Big East schedule.

Impact Cole by far had his best performance of the season. The guard played off the bench for the second straight game and managed to lead the team in points. He had just missed out on his first double-double as well. Cole was the most efficient shooter from the floor and could see a potential return to the starting rotation with this performance.
