Javon Freeman-Liberty - Terrorizes defenders in win Freeman-Liberty recorded 26 points (11-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 87-67 win over Duquesne.
Impact Freeman-Liberty was simply the fastest and most precise player on the court as he led the Blue Demons in scoring on their way to victory. He took over the game in the second half where he scored 19 points and found five rebounds. The senior made domination look easy, his almost double-double was accompanied by a stingy defense that helped hold opposing shooters to just 40.6 percent from the floor. After fouling out in the loss to Loyola the game prior to this, Freeman-Liberty was in need of a bounce-back performance. This was just that.
