Dereck Lively - Likely to play Friday Lively (calf) "has a good chance" at playing in Friday's game against USC Upstate, Adam Rowe of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Lively was unavailable for the season opener Monday, as he continues to recover from a calf injury he sustained in the preseason. However, there's a good chance that the center will be able to make his season debut Friday versus USC Upstate according to coach Jon Scheyer.

Christian Reeves - Will not redshirt Reeves entered Monday's game and will not redshirt this season, Adam Rowe of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Reeves' redshirt status was up in the air entering Monday's season-opener. Entering in the final minutes of the blowout, Reeves is no longer eligible to receive the redshirt. The center will likely see a minimal role off the bench for the Blue Devils this season.

Dereck Lively - Will not play in opener Lively (calf) will not play in Monday's game against Jacksonville, David Thompson of USA Today reports.
Impact Lively was projected to be a game-time decision, but just wasn't healthy enough to give it a go in the regular season opener. Lively has been limited in practice in the last few weeks due to this calf injury. Duke will play again on Friday against USC Upstate which will be the final tuneup before they take on the defending National Champions in Kansas on Nov. 15. In Lively's stead, look for players such as Ryan Young and Kyle Filipowski to see more touches, with Young a likely candidate to see the start, as was the case in Duke's most recent exhibition game
