Dereck Lively - Will not play in opener Lively (calf) will not play in Monday's game against Jacksonville, David Thompson of USA Today reports. Impact Lively was projected to be a game-time decision, but just wasn't healthy enough to give it a go in the regular season opener. Lively has been limited in practice in the last few weeks due to this calf injury. Duke will play again on Friday against USC Upstate which will be the final tuneup before they take on the defending National Champions in Kansas on Nov. 15. In Lively's stead, look for players such as Ryan Young and Kyle Filipowski to see more touches, with Young a likely candidate to see the start, as was the case in Duke's most recent exhibition game
