Christian Reeves - Still pondering redshirt Duke coach Jon Scheyer, when asked about the possibility of a redshirt for Reeves, said that "anything's on the table for us right now," John Watson of 247 Sports reports.
Impact Reeves was one of the standouts in Friday's team scrimmage, recording 11 points (4-4 FG, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and three blocks in just over 13 minutes of action. The plan all along, however, has been for Reeves to take a redshirt season with Duke. The Blue Devils already have the top overall recruit in the nation in Dereck Lively to man the center position (though he did sit out Friday), in addition to Northwestern transfer Ryan Young. Seven-foot power forward Kyle Filipowski is also capable of manning the five, so it's unclear if there will be enough opportunities this season to make suiting up worth it for the 7-1 Reeves. Some believe the three-star prospect possesses NBA-caliber talent, which will surely making spending a year on the sidelines a very difficult decision.

Jeremy Roach - Leads way in scrimmage Roach had a game-high 12 points (4-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and three assists across 16 minutes in Friday's intrasquad scrimmage.
Impact The entirety of the game lasted just 16 minutes, so Roach put up a pretty efficient line, all things considered, en route to leading the winning side. The Blue Devils were also missing presumed eventual starters and five-star freshman Dereck Lively (leg) and Dariq Whitehead (foot), so this volume may not always be sustainable for Roach. Still, the junior should have the starting point guard role locked down with potential to score in double figures this season, especially if his three-point shooting improves from last year's mark of 32.2 percent.
