Impact The Seminoles didn't have their best offensive performance, and while Fletcher's final stat line was decent with 11 points and a number of contributions in other categories, the fact that he needed 16 shots to reach that mark was concerning. Through two games (one start), Fletcher has racked up 20 total points but has gone a meager 8-for-25 from the field in that span. He needs to improve his efficiency in order to become a bigger offensive threat.

Impact The UCF transfer has started in each of the Seminoles' first two games and certainly delivered a better impression here, as he struggled in the opener with just nine points on 11 shots (3-11 FG). He was a regular starter in his first three years with UCF and that's not expected to change here, but he certainly have a good showing against his former team.

Naheem McLeod - Suffers Achilles injury in loss McLeod played just six minutes Friday after suffering an Achilles injury could be sidelined for roughly 6-7 weeks, Matt Murschel of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Impact McLeod suffered the injury midway through the first half and had to be helped back to the locker room. He later returned to the bench in the second half in street clothes and wearing a walking boot. The 7-4 sophomore joins an already crowded injury room for the Seminoles, who is already having their depth severely tested through the first two games of the year. Without McLeod in the mix, 6-10 freshman Cameron Cohen figures to step into the starting unit and has averaged 11 points and two rebounds in 27.5 minutes over his first two games.

Impact Mills averaged a strong 12.7 points per game last season, but he has a strong shot at topping that mark since the fourth-year guard is expected to hold a bigger role on offense this season. The efficiency levels weren't really there in the season opener, but he shouldn't have issues in that department as the season progresses either, as he's shot above 43 percent from the field in each of the last two campaigns.

Impact Cleveland had some minor fitness issues during the preseason, but those problems seem to be a thing of the past now for him as he looked impressive in the campaign-opener. Cleveland only started eight games in his freshman year with the Seminoles, but he should play a prominent role on offense this time around. He averaged 16.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in the 2021-22 campaign.
