ImpactWong had a few lingering ankle concerns heading into this contest, but it was never expected to prevent him from taking the court. He ultimately took on a massive responsibility in both minutes and usage, as Harlond Beverly ended up sitting out the contest due to a back injury. With Chris Lykes (ankle) presumed out for the rest of the season, Wong should continue to be the primary offensive option for an injury-burdened Hurricanes team. Miami has road games against Clemson (Feb. 27) and Virginia (Mar. 1) next up on the schedule.
