Isiah Harwell - Tallies 20 points off bench Harwell produced 20 points (8-14 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 80-38 victory over Jackson State.

Impact Harwell came off the bench to drain four from downtown en route to a career-high 20 points as the Cougars overmatched Jackson State. The reserve freshman had yet to reach double figures in scoring in his career and had totaled just five points across his previous four contests prior to Wednesday's breakout performance. Harwell topped 20 minutes for the fourth time this season and with the other three occurrences coming against Tennessee, Syracuse and Auburn, it's promising that he could see a relatively significant role moving forward. That said, while the highly-touted freshman who ranked number 14 on the ESPN 100 prior to the season has a bright future, his production for the remainder of this season is likely to continue to be muted based on the talent and depth of the Houston roster.

Impact As expected, Sakho didn't return after suffering a left knee injury in the win over Jackson State. Further tests will be needed to determine the severity of the injury, but it seems he'll be questionable -- at best -- to face New Orleans on Saturday.

Kalifa Sakho - Helped off court Wednesday Sakho was helped off the court during Wednesday's game against Jackson State due to an apparent left knee injury, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Impact Sakho suffered the injury when Isiah Harwell fell into his left knee on a drive to the basket. That's a devastating development for a player who already fought his way back into the rotation following a back problem. It remains to be seen if he'll return to action, but it wouldn't be surprising if he has to spend time on the sidelines.

Jacob McFarland - Available to play Wednesday McFarland (leg) is available for Wednesday's game against Jackson State, Chris Baldwin of the PaperCity Magazine reports.

Impact Not only would McFarland be making his season debut if he steps on the hardwood Wednesday, but it'd be a remarkable comeback since he'll be returning from two leg surgeries. He'll add depth at center, but expect Houston to drag him along slowly considering all the time he's spent sidelined.
