Joseph Tugler - Filling role for Cougars Tugler chipped in three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal in 24 minutes during Monday's 65-46 victory over TCU.

Impact Tugler entered the starting lineup in favor of Ja'Vier Francis back on Dec. 7 and, perhaps coincidentally, the Cougars haven't lost a single game since. The sophomore forward's contributions have been modest, as Tugler is posting 5.4 points and 5.3 rebounds across 19.0 minutes per contest, but they're still superior to the player he replaced. While there hasn't been any indication the current alignment will change, Tugler's fantasy ceiling is still a bit limited, as he has the lowest offensive usage rate among starters.

Impact Head coach Kelvin Sampson indicated that the injury doesn't look good, adding that Sharp's foot is, "all black and blue and swollen up." The 6-foot-3 junior has yet to miss a game this season but will almost certainly be listed as questionable at best for Houston's upcoming game against BYU on Saturday. Sharp has been a star for the Cougars this season, averaging 13.7 points per game through 12 contests. Should he miss Saturday's contest, Terrance Arceneaux and Mylik Wilson will likely be in line for expanded roles.

Impact Now, the question is whether or not Roberts enters Houston's starting lineup the team uses for its last game of 2024. He has been deemed a relatively ineffective scorer in December but has compensated for his shoody shooting by averaging 8.0 rebounds across the month.
