Marcus Sasser - Back in double figure scoring Sasser closed with 17 points (6-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 24 minutes during Tuesday's 74-46 win over North Carolina A&T.
Impact After struggling in the teams previous loss to Alabama, Sasser got back on track in Tuesday's win. Sasser needed just 24 minutes to do so, shooting a very efficient 60 percent from the field. An injured eye may have been effecting Sasser's shooting numbers in the two previous games, though he appears to be fully healed and back to his usual role as the primary scoring option for the Cougars.

Ja'Vier Francis - Collects 15 rebounds in win Francis chipped in 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds and three blocks across 28 minutes during Tuesday's 74-46 victory over North Carolina A&T.
Impact Francis tallied his second double-double of the season in Tuesday's blowout win. The sophomore forward was a monster on the offensive glass, collecting seven offensive rebounds and tallying his fifth game with three or more blocks this season. Francis has provided an efficient scoring threat from the bench all season long for the Cougars.

Impact Chaney had only attempted five free-throws all season long prior to Saturday's seven attempts. The senior forward tied a season high in points while also collecting a season high seven rebounds. Chaney tallied four offensive rebounds for his second straight game on Saturday. Entering off the bench, Chaney provides depth for the Cougars front court.

J'wan Roberts - Nears double-double Roberts ended with nine points (4-10 FG, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds and five blocks across 28 minutes during Saturday's 71-65 loss to Alabama.
Impact Roberts fell just one point and one rebound shy of a double-double in Saturday's loss. The Cougars big man was dominant in the paint once again, blocking a season high five shots and grabbing five offensive rebounds. Roberts has played a big factor in the paint for the Cougars defense all season long.

Jamal Shead - Logs 19 point performance Shead racked up 19 points (8-20 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals across 38 minutes during Saturday's 71-65 loss to Alabama.
Impact After failing to score and attempting just three shots in the teams previous win over North Florida, Shead lit up the scoreboard on Saturday. His 19 points marked a new season high, though he struggled, missing 12 shots. Shead averages a team leading 5.9 assists and 2.4 steals per game through 10 games this season.

Impact Despite not suffering an injury, Sasser's inefficient shooting, perhaps attributed to his eye, prevented him from recording a respectable log Saturday. He will try to redeem himself as December continues. Despite the 2022-23 Cougars' first loss, that should not take anything away from the fact that Sasser remains a viable option fantasy managers can benefit from.

Impact Sasser said it himself after Thursday's practice that he will be out there Saturday when the Cougars face Alabama on Saturday. The senior guard is averaging just a hair under 17 points per game thus far and will need to keep the scoring going with the Tide sitting just outside the top 20 in offensive efficiency over the first month of the season.

Impact Sasser does have a black eye and was practicing with protective glasses, but the issue does not seem serious enough to hold him out from playing. The 6-2 senior should be expected in the starting lineup come Saturday in a pivotal clash with Alabama.
