Impact White was presumed to be out for the season after he sustained a torn ACL in a May workout, but the senior has evidently made rapid progress in his recovery from surgery. Due to his long layoff from competitive action, White will likely require several practices to regain conditioning and full strength in his knee before he entertains the idea of playing this season. A starter in all 31 of the Cougars' games last season, White would provide a big boost to the Houston frontcourt if he's able to play at any point in 2020-21, even in a limited capacity. The Cougars wrap up their regular season March 7.
