Still, it's possible Xavier has played itself out of tournament contention, though the Musketeers could help their case with a definitive victory over Georgetown on Saturday to close out the regular season.

The 22-year-old has committed zero turnovers and distributed four assists over the last three games. He will seek to continue dabbling in the passing game with precision against St. John's on Wednesday.

Over his last four appearances coming off of the bench, the junior has averaged 14.5 points and seven rebounds through 20 minutes.

Impact Nunge tore his meniscus in February and wasn't full contact as of mid-October, so it's great to see the 7-0 forward getting some run for the Musketeers. If he's not ready for a full workload, Dieonte Miles -- who started Friday's exhibition -- will presumably be asked to carry more of the load with Zach Freemantle (foot) likely sidelined multiple games.
