Impact Thomas has been one of the Gamecocks' best players by a wide margin this season, starting in each of his 15 appearances and averaging a solid 12.3 points, 3.3 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. Expect Morris Ugusuk, Cam Scott and Austin Herro to see more minutes in the backcourt with Thomas sidelined.

Impact Thomas continued to shoot well from downtown in a blowout victory over Radford. The guard is hitting 38.5 percent of his shots from distance this season, and he his 4-of-6 from beyond the arc in the Gamecocks' penultimate out-of-conference game. The point guard will continue to be extremely valuable to South Carolina as SEC play stars.

Impact Thomas understandably isn't quite matching the scoring and assist marks he set last year at Norfolk State, but the 5-11 senior has played a valuable role upon his leap to the high-major level, starting every game at point guard for the 6-3 Gamecocks. He's also found his stride from distance of late. After being held without a three-pointer in his first three games, Thomas is converting at a rate of 45.2 percent over his last six, including five treys in Saturday's outing.
