Impact What a bounce back game it was for Baylor's leader after a five point showing last time out against Kansas when the team suffered their first loss of the season. This game was back and forth, but it was a game-tying layup with two seconds left over Derek Culver that sent the game to overtime, where Baylor was able to outlast the Mountaineers and clinch the team's first conference title since 1950. Baylor will be right back at it on Thursday against Oklahoma State. Butler had 22 points and six assists in the first matchup this season.

Impact Butler was without a doubt the best player on the floor Monday night despite Kansas having a couple of higher-rated NBA prospects. The junior had been a bit hit-or-miss in the scoring department over his last four games, but he matched the second-best scoring total of his career in this contest while bringing his season-long average to a team-high and career-best 16.7 ppg.
