Dajuan Harris - Dishes out 8 dimes Harris finished Monday's 74-69 victory over Cincinnati with eight points (3-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, eight assists and two steals over 37 minutes.

Impact Harris was the only starter to not reach double-figures, yet he continues to star for the Jayhawks, adding eight assists and two steals to help spark the victory. Harris has now posted eight assists in nine games this season, including four of six conference games. He's also stepped up his defensive presence over the last four, adding 3.3 steals. Harris will lag behind the rest of the Kansas starters in scoring most nights, but he will also continue to be their offensive lynchpin, leading the Big 12 and standing eighth in the country in assists with 6.8 per contest.

Impact It was a disappointing outcome for Kansas but McCullar continues to star, scoring 20 or more for the 10th time this season while shooting 10-for-14 from the floor. The Big 12 is a gauntlet this season with star players up and down the conference, but McCullar has as solid a claim as any, including teammate Hunter Dickinson, as being the best and most consistent player in conference this season. McCullar ranks first in the conference in points (20.0), sixth in assists (4.7), 11th in rebounds (6.4) and is tied for 16th in steals (1.4).

Impact Making just his third start, Furphy contributed all 15 of his points in the first half as Kansas rolled out to a big lead. It was a career-night across the board for Furphy who drained three triples while shooting 83.3% from the field. The 33 minutes played topped his previous best by 13 minutes while the seven boards represented a high-water mark for the talented freshman, who also chipped in a couple of blocks on the defensive end. In just two games in the starting role, Furphy is now averaging 11.0 points and 5.0 boards,. While the Kansas starting five is loaded, limiting his upside, Furphy's new role is likely to continue moving forward, making him a sneaky fantasy option as opposing defenses spend so much of their resources defending the other Kansas stars.

Impact McCullar is not the best player on Kansas as that is a title that continues to belong to Hunter Dickinson. However, McCullar has arguably been their most consistent player all season and he was clearly the best Jayhawk on the court Wednesday, leading the team in scoring while posting five assists and six boards. The Big 12 is as deep this season as it has ever been and while Kansas is competing at the top, one concern is their relative lack of depth. McCullar has averaged 34.5 minutes per contest, a number that creeps up to 36.9 in games decided by less than 10 points. A concern moving forward could be Kansas wearing out its star players if that trend continues.
