Impact Adams had scored 15 points total in his previous two games, but stepped up in the Jayhawks' Big 12 opener by matching a season-high with 18 points to go along with 10 boards for his first double-double of the season. It was the 10th consecutive game for Adams playing 30-plus minutes as he's one of four Jayhawks averaging over 30 minutes of court time per contest. Adams is averaging 12.9 points per game this season, but in seven games decided by 10 points or less, that average raises to 15.1 points.

Impact It was a new season-best scoring total for Jackson, but the four-star freshman continues to play a secondary role in the offense to the likes of Hunter Dickinson and Kevin McCullar. Expect more of the same heading into Big 12 play.

Hunter Dickinson - Goes about his business Dickinson finished with 22 points (10-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt), 13 rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals over 30 minutes during Saturday's 86-67 win over Wichita State.

Impact Dicksinson put up his best scoring total since Nov. 28 here and continues to be a force on the glass. He has double-digit rebounds in five consecutive games, averaging 13.0 rpg over that span. On the season, he's averaging 12.5 rpg, which is second in the country to only Akron's Enrique Freeman. Even with Big 12 play approaching Dickinson is safe to deploy in all formats and is likely a top-5 fantasy asset in the nation.

Impact Yale kept the game competitive for much longer than anticipated, holding a lead into the second half. This opened the door for McCullar to have a career night by putting up his first career 30-plus point effort. Following Yale's last lead, Kansas went on a 23-5 run in which McCullar scored 12 points to help slam the door on Yale's upset bid. It was a traditional all-around effort for McCullar who had his fourth straight with at least six rebounds, four assists and two steals. The 6'7" wing also matched a season high with four threes as he upped his average to 20.4 points to go along with 6.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 34.4 minutes per game.
