Shooting display at pro day Allen (knee) participated in shooting drills during Kentucky's Pro Day on Thursday, Kyle Tucker of The Athletic reports. Impact Allen missed his entire freshman season with Kentucky due to a torn ACL, but there haven't been any signs of limitations so far this offseason from the limited glimpses allowed to the media. Tucker even went as far as to call Allen "the purest shooter on the roster," which is a good sign for the former four-star recruit's chances of seeing minutes early on. Kentucky has yet again re-tooled this offseason with a batch of four and five-star talent, in addition to experienced seniors Davion Mintz and Olivier Sarr from the transfer market. It will be tough to crack the rotation in any capacity, but given the team shot just 34.3 percent from beyond the arc last season, anyone who can boost the perimeter play would seemingly be a candidate.
