Impact20 games into the season, coach Eric Musselman is still looking for an answer at point guard, and his .500 Arkansas team has fallen to a dismal 1-6 in SEC play -- currently putting them on the outside looking in with respect to the NCAA Tournament. Menifield has been one option that has picked up a few starts, but over his last five games, he's shooting a woeful 22.7 percent from the field and averaging less than one assist per contest, which clearly isn't cutting it. Neither is the effort from the likes of El Ellis and Layden Blocker, however, so Menifield could factor back into the mix sooner rather than later.
