Impact Carr replicated his strong shooting performance from the Feb. 6 loss to Kansas when he converted 10 of his 21 field-goal attempts. As a result, the defensive stalwart tied for a team high in points alongside fellow guard Sir'Jabari Rice (7-12 FG, 0-3 3FG), the latter of whom has moved into the starting lineup with forward Timmy Allen (leg) sidelined throughout the Big 12 Conference Tournament. These strong scoring outings from Carr and Rice helped secure the Longhorns a conference championship, which should result in likely a top two or three seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
