Impact Carr posted 20 or more points for the fourth time this season after putting up 11 and 12 over the Longhorns' previous two games. This was thanks in part to his 13 three-point attempts, marking his second most in a game this season. Carr has still been Texas' best scorer with 17.5 points per game while also converting 45.1 percent of his team-high 13.2 field-goal attempts per game. He's also been one of the conference's best three-point shooters, converting 41.1 percent of his 6.6 tries from beyond the arc per game.

Impact Carr's 28 points were his most since Feb. 27 of 2020 when he scored 41 as a member of Minnesota against Nebraska. This strong performance comes after he failed to score in double figures in back-to-back games. The fifth-year senior will continue to be an integral part of the Longhorn attack going forward.
