Impact Sasser truly attempted to give it a go after participating in what seemed like full capacity in both shootaround and pregame warmups, but the first red flag was raised when he was held out of the starting lineup in favor of Terrance Arceneaux. Houston should be able to get by Northern Kentucky in their NCAA Tournament opener on Thursday, even without the services of Sasser, but the Cougars' long-term outlook is directly tied to the health the senior shooting guard and leading scorer.
